Student Advisory Committee Volunteer Opportunity

As a member, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and input on Office of the Registrar activities and initiatives that directly impact students. The Student Advisory Committee also acts as a resource and focus group for various on-campus partners. 

The Student Advisory Committee has provided feedback and advice on topics including 

  • Money Talks Workshops and Financial Literacy Week 
  • Student Connect visuals 
  • USRi advertising and process 
  • Student Connect service levels and student expectations 
  • And many more! 

Time Commitment and Schedule

A time commitment of two hours per month from October to April is required. Meetings will be held monthly during the academic year, excluding December and April. Each meeting will be scheduled on Tuesday evenings at 5 p.m., with dinner provided. 

The meeting dates for the upcoming year are scheduled as follows: 

  • Oct. 3, 2017 
  • Nov. 7, 2017 
  • Jan. 16, 2018 
  • Feb. 13, 2018 
  • March 20, 2018
