Rhodes Scholarship Competition

The Rhodes Scholarship supports exceptional students from around the world to study at the University of Oxford, in England. Each year, 11 students from across Canada are selected, from 84 internationally. In recent years, the University of Alberta has been fortunate to have had several of its students selected, including three in 2015 and one in 2016.

Value

The Rhodes scholarship covers tuition and application fees at Oxford, a personal stipend, and economy-class airfare to the U.K. from Canada at the beginning and end of the scholarship.

For more information, see the Rhodes Canada website.
