Notes

  1. Last day to add or drop courses using web registration is the date specified for 13-week classes (refer to Bear Tracks operating hours). After this date, use a Withdrawal form to withdraw from your courses. This form is available at your faculty office. Course drops through web registration by this delete date will be removed from your student record, and you will not be assessed fees. Course withdrawals after the delete date will be assessed fees because it is too late to offer your place in the class to another student. (See note 2 below for information on course drops for 6-week courses offered in the second half of the term.)
  2. Note that 6-week courses offered in the second half of the term cannot be dropped via web registration unless the drop is made by the drop deadline date specified for 13-week classes (refer to Bear Tracks operating hours). After that date, for these classes, a withdrawal form is required; however, if the withdrawal is signed by the faculty by the 'delete only' date specified for 6-week classes offered in the second half of the term, the course will be removed from your student record and you will not be assessed fees. Course withdrawals after the delete date will be assessed fees because it is too late to offer your place in the class to another student.
  3. Students who have not paid their fees in full by this date, or made satisfactory alternate arrangements, will be assessed late payment penalty charges.
  4. If you withdraw from courses by this date, you are assessed 50% of the fees, and you receive a grade of "W" (withdrew) on your student record. If you withdraw after this date, you are assessed full fees.
  5. If you withdraw from a two-term course from September 19, 2017, to October 4, 2017, you will be assessed 50% of the Fall Term fees. If you withdraw from October 5, 2017, to January 19, 2018, you will be assessed 100% of the Fall Term fees. In each case, you will not be charged for the Winter Term portion of the two-term course. If your Faculty determines that you may have special permission to withdraw from January 22, 2018, to February 7, 2018, you will be assessed full Fall Term fees and 50% of Winter Term fees. After February 7, 2018, you will be assessed full fees for both terms.
  6. Last day to withdraw and receive a grade of "W". Withdrawals after this date will be assigned a final grade based on course work completed.

Avoid Instalment Charges

If you pay all Fall and Winter Term fees by the Fall Term Fee Payment Deadline, you will avoid a $40 instalment charge.

If you choose to pay by term, your Fall Term fees must be paid by the Fall Term Fee Payment Deadline. Your Winter Term fees, plus the $40 instalment charge, are due by the Winter Term Fee Payment Deadline.
